About Us
CCAS head offices are located in the City of London, the world’s financial centre. The partners have long-term experience in the financial markets and access to major funding for renewable energy investments. CCAS has a pipeline of over £300m of projects. Our partners are located around UK for easy access to site owners.
CCAS was founded in August 2006 to source, develop and fund renewable energy projects. Having researched the various technologies available in this fast growing market, CCAS has focused on projects where energy is created from waste (EfW), predominantly in UK and using Combined Heat and Power (CHP) technology.
The CCAS team consists of five core members. The three founding partners, Neil Eckert, Ed Atkinson and John Berry have worked together for a combined 15 years. Previously Neil, Ed and John worked at the European Climate Exchange, part of Climate Exchange plc, where Neil is CEO.
We have been joined by Will Green, a former professional rugby player with Wasps, Leinster and England; Mark Hardinge; and Marcia Ryan, a graduate and former researcher for Alan Duncan MP.
